    • Aruba 7000 Series Mobility Controllers performs Dynamic Segmentation by tunneling both wired and wireless traffic to the built-in Policy Enforcement Firewall for deep packet inspection and policy enforcement.
    • Aruba 7000 Series Mobility Controllers can assume the role of an on-premises agent of centrally-hosted third-party firewalls to eliminate the need for dedicated branch firewall appliances.
    • The Aruba 7000 Series Mobility Controllers can be repurposed as SD-WAN gateways, providing up to 8 Gbps of throughput, which is up to 10 times that of typical SD-WAN appliances.
    The 7000 series optimizes cloud services and secures enterprise applications at branch offices while rightsizing the network infrastructure. It combines wireless, wired, and hybrid, SD-WAN services, supporting up to 24 Ethernet ports and 64 APs, and features built-in stateful firewall, secure VPN, and threat management with content filtering to reduce truck-rolls and the number of appliances per location. For the hybrid WAN, the 7000 series supports compression, health checks, zero-touch configuration, and policy-based routing to reduce truck-rolls as well as manual configuration and monitoring of single-purpose appliances.

    7010 mobility controller is designed for mid-sized branch deployments that require several PoE and PoE+ switch ports.
